Sydney Royal Horse Competition

The Horse Competitions are among the most exciting events at the Royal Sydney Easter Show, and they attract some of the largest audiences. More than 6,000 nominations are received annually, for horses competing in 24 different breed classes, plus hack and riding classes, heavy and light harness, showjumping, campdraft, polo, polocrosse, team penning, riding for the disabled, cutting, pony club, police horses and tentpegging. Altogether there are more than 1,000 classes in the Easter Show’s Horse Schedule.

 

Please be advised there have been changes to the performance requirements for the Saddlehorse and Show Hunter classes at the 2012 Sydney Royal Horse Show. Please click on 'Entering the Competition' on the left hand side to view these changes.
