Trophies & Championships

Winning a Sydney Royal award is a significant honour.  As well as the sense of pride and achievement that accompanies a prize winning entry, winners also have a valuable opportunity to brand their product as an RAS prize winner, a hallmark of distinction that allows that product to stand out from its competitors.

The range of trophies and awards offered by the Sydney Royal includes:

Perpetual Trophies 

The RAS’ most prestigious award, a Perpetual Trophy recognises outstanding performance in that Competition.  Each trophy has been donated by an individual or organisation with a significant connection to the Show or the Competition.  Awarded annually in the donor’s name, a Perpetual Trophy symbolises tradition as well as achievement.  The winner takes home a medallion as a memento of the award and their name is engraved on the trophy.  The trophy remains with the RAS in its trophy collection. 

Annual Prizes or Trophies

These prizes are donated by supporters on an annual basis and come in a variety of forms, including cash or trophies.  Supporters usually have a connection to the section or the particular class. 

In addition to their prize, Competition winners also have access to RAS Medal Artwork, which can be used on their promotional material, advertising and packaging etc to distinguish their product.
