Spring Show Competition Dates

  

Important dates for the 2013 Spring Sydney Royal Fine Food Show:

 

Entries Open: Wednesday 5 June 2013

Entries Close: Wednesday 10 July 2013

Delivery dates: Vary, depending on the Competition. Please refer to the Spring Schedule.

Judging Dates: Please refer to below for specific Competiton dates.

It is important that you read the Schedule carefully before entering any Fine Food Show.

 

  

What's New for 2013?

The RAS is proud to announce the inclusion of an exciting new range of classes and Championships for the 2013 Spring Competition, in line with exhibitor feedback and consumer demand.

  • Olive Oil Competition: New Table Olives and Flavour Infused Oil Classes, in line with industry trends
  • Regional Food Competition: Revised spice blends classes
  • Deli Meat Competition: Separate Championships for Ham and Bacon Exhibits

 

 

Judges Lists

 

Judging panels of three to five judges are constituted from a combination of the following:

 

  • Food Media
  • Manufacturers and technologists from industry
  • Product users
  • Product retailers
  • Chefs
  • Other specialist judges

 

Names of individual judges are not released prior to judging. However judges are detailed in the Results Catalogue prepared at the end of each Show.

 

If you are interested in becoming a judge, please contact the coordinator on 02 9704 1299 or finefood@rasnsw.com.au. For a more detailed description of the judging procedure for each Competition, please refer to the relevant Schedule for that Fine Food Show session.

 

 

Exhibitor Confirmation Packs

 

All Exhibitors are issued with an Exhibitor Confirmation Pack. This will be posted out four weeks prior to the Competition. The pack contains product labels, courier and postal labels, maps and delivery instructions. 

 

Exhibitors will be issued with an Exhibit Confirmation Advice, otherwise known as a bench slip, which indicates the class/es in which they have entered.

 

 

Delivery of Exhibits

 

A map showing where exhibits can be delivered will be posted out to all Exhibitors in their Confirmation Packs four to six weeks prior to the Competition.
